Joyce Jefferson - shown here as Sarah Campbell, 1874 Custer-expedition cook -
is well known
for her storytelling and interpretation of South Dakota history.
She brings to life early-day pioneers such as Sarah Campbell (Aunt Sally),
Kathryne Reynolds, Lucretia Marchbanks, and Mary Kercherval; who lived in the Black Hills of Dakota Territory in
the 1800's as well as Yanktonian Katherine Davis Champman Tillman and Tripp County personality Orlean Micheaux.
Her signature presentation “Phenomenal Woman” & Other S/Heroes has inspired
and uplifted hundreds.
Joyce's lively interpretations include singing, poetry and narration.

Cultural Festivals Museums & Historical Societies and Historical Conferences.
